Wow, let see, my bleeding finally stopped. Then bladder pain and painful urination set in. Now it has stopped. Yeah....oh, no now my Kidney is killing me....aghhhhhhh! I feel as if I have a impacted tooth. My gum and jaw are sooooo hurting. I have a horrible sore throat. My face is loaded with acne. My rash or whatever that I had on my neck and ears last week is now gone, yeah! The water blisters that I kept getting have now stopped. Now I am going through major bloating for the second time around.
:p I am soooo happy that all of this is happening. I must be doing this raw lifestyle right. I keep embracing each new issue. It is sooo nice when they finally pass. Usually after one does I have a spurt of energy. Thank you Mr. DETOX and THANK YOU RAW!
Thank you raw food talk friends for all of your much needed support!!!!!! :)

I am new to this way of life. I am doing it for health reasons but I love the foods. I purchased most of the uncook books and dvd's. Went to Living Light Intern'l in Ft Bragg Last month. I want to go Alissa's in the near future trying hard to be able to do this. I mean its gotto be more than salads and fruit please tell me its so.. Anyway what did you do to start the detox. Just raw live food or did you do something special???? thanks

Nothing special. I just ate raw. I just kept it simple and didn't worry about rules. I also took/take full advantage of this forums support system. I look forward to reading your future post. Are you doing Alissa's 30 day challenge?

Tombi -thanks Tombi for sharing your crown. I was told that for every year you have been sick it takes 1 month to detox. If that is the case I have a little over 8 months left.
seasidedaisy- yes it sure does make you think.
eachpeachpearplum- maybe your peachy clean, if not I am sure it will crown you when its ready. Thanks!
Coriander74- yes, I really sizzle.......hot, hot, hot! Thank you! :D

I'm such a wimp. I've given up every time my detox has gotten awful.
I'm happy that you are doing so well.
If I keep trying, I know I'll get there!

iloverawfoods- I am the detox queen right along with you! Let us rejoice and be glad together! Last week, it was acne and major tooth pain. I felt like my whole mouth was impacted, especially where this one root canal is. (I often think about just removing all root canals from my mouth since they are forever releasing huge amounts of toxins in the body, but don't know what to fill them that will work with since they are my chewing teeth ya gotta chew to eat raw veggies!) On Saturday, I had a horrible headache. I just suffered through thinking "This is good, this is good..." and threw up twice in the middle of the night (raw nori rolls are NOT good the second time around!!) I am also having huge fatigue. Every muscle feels weighted down. I am just trying to take it easy and be gentle with myself. DETOX is GREAT!

I think we (many raw foodists) are the only people that enjoy pain and discomfort that deals with detox :p
I love the pain that comes with it since I know that the yucky stuff is coming out!

I think most women in general like pain. Waxing, plucking, pulling hair through caps, nails, dieting extremes, etc....
at least raw is a healthy happy pain!
