I think I pulled something in my lower back a few days ago when I was exercising. It still hasn't stopped hurting. I decided not to exercise today, but I don't know what else to do. Any recommendations for what I can do? I used to just take aspirin and not think anything of it, but I guess I shouldn't do that anymore? Should I try icing it or using a heating pad?

Whenever you injure yourself you "should" ice it asap. After that, epsom salt baths will assist ~ and time. Fed properly, the body will usually heal itself.

It could be a physical injury, or a spiritual injury--

Lower back pain hit me a few days ago, too, with no real reason--I thought. Intuitively, I knew that it was related to an ongoing relationship issue--maintaining strong boundaries with a someone who was determined to conquer me emotionally. Sure enough, the first chakra is related to safety and groundedness. Fears can manifest in lower back pain.

When I stopped being a conduit of the negative energy this person was injecting into my life, let go of my bitterness (thru forgiveness), and visualized being safe in LOVE, the back pain went away.

I used to have back pain or discomfort on a consistent basis. I massaged allaround my sacrum. There were little knots, very painful but I worked them all out. I haven't had any pain since. I am also wearing "Earth Shoes." They come in different types, but I wear the sandals. They have what is called a Negative heel. They're supposed to be good for your spine, thus your back. I got mine at Walmart for $14.00.
