Hi My name is Kita. I just joined lastnight after lurking for awhile. I posted a photo and entry under photo/journaling section.

I am 45, been with my partner for 20 years. We raised 6 children, one son and five daughters. We were all raw for two years about 19 years ago. We have two grand daughters.

I'm a tattoo artist and run my own shop. This is my second shop and starting this one has been a challenge. I sit most of the day and don't get much sunshine. I'm hoping to open a vegan cafe in a few months... if I can raise the funds.

I have a chihuahua Penny that is my best friend, who is over wieght and needs rawfoods too. Haven't done that with my dogs yet, so that will be interesting.

Hello Kita, nice to have you here. Hope you can raise the funds you need. We need more healthy places in the USA and the World for that fact.

Hi Kita,

Welcome!

Maybe you can put full spectrum lighting in your shop.

I am so glad to find this forum!

I have wanted a restraunt for so long... I don't know how raw/vegan foods will go over in my county, we have a full vegan with rawfoods on the menue resturant in an ajoining county where they have a public college and a more alternative lifestyle group of people (only 40% Mormon compared to 80% in my county). Mormons despite their scriptural "Word of Wisdom" are not generaly interested in healthy eating, actually love junk foods. So it will be a risk. But worth taking. I think that if you can make it taste good it will sell.

Got to go soak some chick peas and sunflower seed...
