My future mother-in-law passed away suddenly so we left at 4:00 am to catch a red eye from NJ to Colorado. I am determined to stay high raw during this trip.
Sadly, I had to throw away a lot of food...watermelons, avocados, etc. But I did manage to put together some nuts, sunflower seeds and raisins for a quickie trail mix, and grabbed a couple of bananas. There was some fruit salad at the airport. I also grabbed a Lara bar. (I hope they really are raw, I know some foods are up for debate. I'll do a search on that shortly).
For dinner I got a salad.
We rented an efficiency and I just went food shopping and bought salad greens, fruit, olive oil, and a blender.
I have to tell you that after the myriad diets I have been on over the past 20+ years, this one is the EASIEST for traveling!
