I have it left over from almond milk.

I'd like to make something sweet like a cookie or a macaroon type thing ( a bit like Maraw's lemon chewies) but am sooooo not creative!

Suggestions please! I have a dehydrator.

Thanks.

Some here differ on this, but I personally don't like anything made with *fresh* almond milk pulp...just don't like the texture.

However, I usually just take my pulp and dry it out in the dehydrator then once dried, grind into a flour to use in dessert recipes such as adding to pie crusts, the cinnamon wheels I make and stuff like that.

I was thinking of something along the lines of cookies or perhaps using cacao nibs, agave nectar and coconut butter to make a nutty choc bar but I don't want to get the quantities wrong and waste expensive ingredients.

I haven't tried anything with the pulp before but it seems a shame to waste it!

I'd be glad to hear if anyone can come up with a recipe and measurements for the ingredients.

If nothing else enjoy a full body scrub with it in the shower.

Maybe we should ask Dragggon if he's done any experiments with it lately... :D

Hmmm, I agree with Rawks, I saved mine and make biscotti. Unfortunatly the texture was close to a sawdust brick!

The advice as a body scrub is great and also using it to bump up other recipies is also good.

I keep a ziplock in the freezer and just keep adding to it.

Would it be any good used with other ingredients to make a pie crust?

The bodyscrub idea sound quite good!

Very good idea.

I've been blending mine into salad dressings because I don't want to throw it away and I don't know what else to do with it ... let's just say, edible, but not a great idea [unless you like gritty salad dressing]. LOL

Hmmm since I dont have a nut bag I've made all my nut milks simply by blnding with water and drinking it all, wit fruit and ice mixed in.

I never liked milk so I' not missing anything, texture wise, and I love stiff full body smoothies.

Now I imagine there must be some recipies that require straining thru a nut bag?????
