Hola!
I just made a nummy smoothie with
~2c. mexican papaya
1/2 lime juiced
2 peaches
1 orange juiced
a touch of vanilla
a dash of sweetener, I used stevia (may opt out next time was added before the oj, and I thought it needed something.)

very good.

so my question is for those of you in the know... is there a flavor difference btwn the mexican papaya and others? How is papaya frozen?

Hi,

After removing the skin and seeds, I cut it into 1-inch wide spears and put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment & into the freezer. Then I transfer them to an airtight containers when they are fully frozen.
My little guy loves papaya. I just let it partially defrost before serving it.

I am hoping to go to Mexcio for the monthof November, the land of mangos, avocados, papaya.....if nothing eles its inspired my eatting and to brush up on my spanish!
