carob powder

I am thinking about ordering some raw organic carob powder, what would I use this in..brownies, cookies? I have never used it before. :)

I mix it half and half with raw chocolate powder to make chocolate and chocolate icecream

ooh, that sounds so yummy! Do you know what the difference is between the carob powder and cacao powder?

The come from different plants completely. One comes from the cocoa bean and I think that carob is a root.
I made chocolate yesterday with cashews and soaked gogi berries. Nice.

I use it for ice cream, with agave and it tastes like fudge. It can be used in all sorts of desserts like the ones you mentioned.

Okay, I think I am going to order some, I saw some on ebay along with the organic vanilla beans..I want to try and make a chocolate dessert, I miss my chocolate! :)
