How many of you are running a marathon this year? Seems to be quite a few. Which one? Will this be your first? How about your first RAW?

I'll be running Chicago in October. My 6th marathon but my first RAW!

Good to meet ya. I am planning on running St. George, Utah in October.
My 5th Marathon, But 1st RAW as well.

I need all the tips I can get! I start training for LA MArathon 2007 on August 19th with the LA Roadrunners!!

My friend went RAW last summer 2 months prior to his 6th Marathon just to see what kind of results he would get. Well... he dropped 30 pounds and he ran his fastest time ever and knocked off 25 minutes from his PR. He could not believe it!! I was so Jealous! I was stuffing myself with all of these pastas and pancakes and he was just kicking back drinking coconut juice. I thought he was crazy until I saw his results. He left me in the dust!! :rolleyes:

Hey! Glad to see so many raw runners! I am doing The Nike Marathon in San Francisco in October with Team in Training. It's a challenge to stay raw on long runs...still working out the issues...It'd be great to share tips! Good luck with your training, everyone!
