What can I do with split peas? Can I sprout or soak them? :)

No. They're not intact. Only whole peas can be sprouted. Are split peas even raw? I don't think they are.

Strange, I have sprouted green split peas before.

Could it be that some of the "halves" had the germ intact and thus were able to germinate? I guess if they did, it shows that they were raw.

If you scroll down to the section on peas it says that split peas won't work. And when I've sprouted peas, I always have to take out the split ones.
