Ive never had flatbread, what exactly is the texture of it. Is it soft, thin, thick etc??? Thanks Jen

It was flat and very thin. Nice and crispy, easy to spread avocado and tomatoes on with a sauce.

Do you mean Chapati? I saw a recipe for that in Gabriel Cousens book Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine. It doesn't say it is crispy, but rather pliable.
I also have a recipe called Energy Flat Bread with dehydrated sprouted buckwheat, flax seeds and carrot pulp which says it is crisp. That one is from Rejuvenate Your Life by Serene Allison.

I have been making Alissa's Calzone crust and spreading it thinner and in a large square on the teflex sheet. I dehydrate it longer than her calzone recipe calls for and it comes out similar to what I would call flatbread. I slice it with a pizza cutter. It is nice and crispy and I spread a cheese on it and top it with avocado, tomato and onion. It is delicious! I usually use different spices than her recipe calls for so if you want Indian spices just substitute them in place of the ones she calls for. I also use it as pizza crust only I make it round. It has a wonderful taste and texture! Let me know if you try it. Good Luck

:) Tiza do you have the recipe for the Chapati? I've heard of it and would love to try it.
I will also try the bread you spoke about Jen. It all sounds great and easy to make, that's what i'm looking for.
My husband loves bread and i want to stay raw with it.
Thanks to you all.

It looks like Alissa's recipe is similar to the Energy Flatbread Tirza is speaking of. Let us know how it turns out for you.
