It's so great to have helpful people around :)
I followed a link about breaking up bananas into pieces then into a ziplock then into the freezer. This has rescued a lot of bananas that would otherwise have gone bye bye.
Well it being like a BEEEZIllion degrees outside I though Ok, now is the time for all good Raw babies to make some ice Cream with the frozen bananas
So into the food processor and WHIIIIRRRRRRRRRR it nearly flew off the counter :eek: HAHAHHA
Ok, plan B :)
I let them sit for a few minutes while I opened a young coconut and poured in the water and scooped out the flesh into the FP again.
WHHHiiiirrrrrr SPLASH! Yikes!!!! water started coming out of the edge of the FP. You are not gonna beat me!!
OK OK Plan C !!
Poured the liquid back out into a bowl and left the banana, coconut meat, and I added some walnuts.
WHHiiirrrrrr oooohhh it's working!! poured back the water as it blended and Ahhhh Smooth and creamy.
So I poured the thick mixture into a freezer bowl and filled it and the rest went into my bowl for eating..
SOO was I expecting this semi oatmealish looking stuff to taste good?
Well, no hehe to be honest I didn't
THEN! I ate it and OH Yummydoodles!!!!
