OK- so I've been around here awhile & I have had my slips from Raw. I finally hit what I would call *Rock bottom* & I asked for help both from the forum & I reached out to a Raw food coach.

I see so many on this forum struggling-like I was- & I know that this site is loaded with coaches. These are folks who are Raw & who are trained to help.

I have seen such a difference in my Raw journey since I consulted a coach. I highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling.

I hope this helps.. :)

advice that is great advice because if something is failing we tend to think we can fix it oursleves when we can ask for help and get so much farther. Thankyou for that. :)

As I was pondering how well I've been taking care of myself ~ getting out walking, Turbo Jamming, clubbing, hooping, getting enough sleep, eating well, etc. more consistently than I ever have I was wondering how that came to be.

What I came up with was coaching as lanasq said. I originally went to my teacher/mentor because my asthma was so bad it was killing me yet, every session I went to ~ and they were VERY intense and often incited and asthma attack ~ he told me that I could breath anytime I wanted to. Well, at first, I didn't believe him. I thought "no, I have asthma". (at least I wasn't claiming that I was an asthmatic so maybe it was easier). After a few weeks/months my thought processes began to change and I was thinking "Is this true?" Once that started, asthma disappeared for the most part. (eliminated wheat and dairy helped with more and raw helped w/ any pet allergies).

So, what's helping me now? First is, I'm working with a business coach who sees my potential; secondly, my husband is so very supportive ~ tells me I'm smart, I'm capable, I'm wonderful, etc. Third, when I facilitate, what I say to others, sinks in deeply for me as well.

Many of us do not have a very strong sense of self because for the most part, the people around us do not lovingly support us so that we know we are smart, competent and capable. So for 20, 30, 40+ years we hang around people who not only don't support us yet many times degrade us. Isn't that strange when you think about it? Sad to say, oftentimes it's our own family who does this.

I know many of you don't have a lot of money yet, find people who support you ~ who tell you how great you are ~ just as a human being. That you have the right to exist; that you have the right to be happy; that you have the right to be, do and have everything you want in this lifetime being it wealth, health and/or wonderfully supportive relationships.

I know you do. You know how I know it? Because you exist. That's all there is to it.
