I currently use Fitwatch (http://fitwatch.com) because it allows you to enter recipes. Does anyone know how to enter recipes for Nutridiary or FitDay?

I use Fitday and haven't noticed any tool allowing the whole recipe to be added; I enter each ingredient and hope for the best.

But for me, it's all raw stuff, not a lot of mixing or measuring, I don't really use recipes, I'm just NO FUN at all! ;-0

Sorry I can't help.

I did notice when you look at stuff like some brand name meal, they have a little box off to the right of the nutritional label that shows all the stuff that goes into that meal, but I have no idea how to get it in there in the first place.

It also annoys me that if something like brazil nuts is added by me, I can't put in the selenium content. There's only a fixed format that doesn't include stuff like selenium. Luckily Brazil nuts are in their database, so I don't have to add them. But you know what I mean.

Good luck!

Thanks Jackie - yeah I know what you mean. FitWatch allows you to add recipes and it is great, but doesn't have some other features I like in the other two programs.

I do the same as Jackie. Don't eat too complicatedly and enter individual ingredients on fitday.

I'd like to be able to enter recipes from Alissa's book, just so I have an idea of what I'm eating.

The way I did my smoothie was just enter all the ingredients on an empty day and use those nutrients to make the custom food. Nutridiary confuses me too much, although I've heard it it more accurate than fitday.

I use the pantry on nutritiondata to enter the ingredients and use that to enter the custom food on fitday. It takes a lonnng time but it works. Good thing I hardly ever make recipes!
