In the welcome post, Rawinmichiana wanted to know a salad dressing recipe. Here's an easy one from Carol Alt's book- Eating in the Raw

1 cup Udo's choice oil
1 cup cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 cup raw apple cider vinegar
Sea salt to taste
Ground cayenne pepper (optional)
Ground mustard to taste ( I usually use dijon instead)
Put all ingredients into a plastic container with lid. Shake well.

It's really wonderful! Even my non-raw DH enjoys it!

Mustard that comes pre-packaged in a bottle is not raw. It has salt and vinegar in it. You can however buy the ground mustard seed in the spice section of the store.

As for raw vinegar...I used Braggs Raw Apple cider vinegar. Technically I think its fermented...I guess its a personal choice. A lot of times I substitute lemon juice instead.

I know that when I purchase my vinegar at the health food store the bottle says 'Raw Apple Cider Vinegar- unpasturized'. I would assume that to mean raw, but I'm not an expert, by all means. This is what I use in my recipes. :)
