:) I've never used quinoa before and don't know how to make a raw dish with it.
Has anyone here ever used it and if so how did you fix it?
I'm trying not to use couscous anymore which i loved but it was cooked.
Thanks for the help.
Ann :)

rinse it VERY well (even sort of soak-rinse) for a long time to get the bitter coating off it, then sprout and make quinoa taboulleh, with good tomatoes, parsley, hint of mint, shallots, whatever you want to put in and lemon juice and olive oil.

How do you guys rinse your food? I mean, I have a filter on my sink cuz faucet water is nasty, But when the filter is on the faucet the pressure is sooooo LOW... It takes forever to wash clean any type of produce etc!

Well it's expensive but you can buy bottled (I use distilled for lots of stuff) and just soak it clean. Low water pressure and nasty sink water stinks :(

bles, to answer your question they sprout very quickly. Like you've probably eaten them by now! ;) About a day.
