I sometimes put 1-4 TBSP of cococut oil in my fruit smoothies... I also put a TBSP of flax oil and a cup of cashews in my salad dressing which I consume alot of. My question is Should I just alternate the oil when I use it and only put oil in either the dressing or smoothie but not both? I was thinking if I have a smoothie every morning and the rest is mainly the dressing as dressing and veggie dip would this be to much fat from both oils on a fairly reg. basis?

(FWIW, my opinion)
I no longer consume any oils at all. IMHO, the above oil/nut intake is very high and results in a very high-fat diet. FWIW, since I've reduced my fat intake below 10% of my caloric intake, I feel much better.
There are many proponents of the low fat diet (Graham, McDougall, Pritikin, Campbell, etc...).

there are many ways to do the raw food diet...i feel better eating a higher fat diet....listen to your body...it will tell you what is working and what is not working...if you feel heavy and bloated...cut back a bit...if not...dont...we all have to find our own way...
