It amazes me. I used to couldn't stand to get hot. Now I thrive in the heat. When my hubby isn't home my a/c is off. I love getting into my hot black car that has been sitting on the pavement most of the day. I don't turn the a/c on or anything. It is like a sauna bath all the way back home. I am actually sweating too and that is a new thing for me. I have never sweat much and now I am. When I would before 100% raw on the rare occasion I would have very bad odor, but not anymore. I just want to be outside in the heat all day. Everyone around here is complaining about how hot it is. Everytime someone saids "Oh it is sooo hot!!!" I say: "I know isn't it wonderful" and I get a funny grin and a eyebrow lift, LOL!

I hope I always love the heat like this. It makes me want to move back to Florida and I said I would never ever live there again. :)

Yo that's funny - your thread title :D
I too like the heat, I like it when I go from freezing my butt off, whenever I'm in a resturant or a store or office building and get into my hot truck, I love the feeling. Alot of my friends ask me why am I wearing long sleeve shirts at night time in the summer - coz I'm since I've gone RAW I get cold for some reason. When I was big and fat and eating sad, I could walk around the house in the winter in a pair of shorts and a t- shirt. Those days are long gone now. :D

I can handle the heat so much better now that I am raw, but I still don't like it hot, I grew up in the desert, and it isn't for me. I like the cool clear air of Western Washington, the crisp night air, beautiful green tall fir trees, gorgeous white capped mountains, the lakes and the ocean, green grass, and huge Rhododendrons, I love this state, and yet, it gets way too hot in the summer, I keep thinking that I want to move, but there is no place more beautiful, so I stay where I am, I don't like it hot at all, I could live with it a nice comfy 60 degrees all year long. I like it cave cool. YEP, that's me.

I love the heat. I went for a bike ride at 1:00 PM. My parents think I'm crazy.

I hope I never move out of Texas.

I think when we're having weather like we've been having, we tend to forget that really most of the summer is pretty mild here. I lived in Alameda, CA for a few years. I remember one day where we got some frost in the winter and a couple of weeks each summer where it felt sweltering, but most of the time the temp. was 60-70 year round. Very little rain. Pretty by some standards but really a very boring place to live. I like it soooo much better here!

I can handle the heat just fine but I don't like it all. Quite the opposite actually. I love being cool because it relaxes me more and I can bundle up in cuddly blankets and I love cool weather, crips autumn days and lovely grey, rainy days. They make me so happy and relaxed. (probably because I'm a capricorn, born in january).

I used to kind of hate the heat, it always irritated me (I love me some sea breezes and autumn days too), but somehow it doesn't seem to trouble me anymore. I don't know if that is because of the raw food thing, I'm only doing it for two months now. Maybe I just changed overall. Everything just seems to make me happy these days. :) :) :)

I used to hate the sun and the heat, but now, if I don't get any sun, I get withdrawal symptoms! I used to HATE the sun, really hate it. It is pretty weird huh? I really have changed, and really apriciate the hot weather.

Misslinda,

That picture of you is really good! It's hot! LOL

My girlfriend is like that (right down to the car thing, except her's is gray). Personally I prefer it cooler (though I don't like cold winters either, hence my location).
