I was wondering if it is best to fast as a transition into the 30 day raw challenge, or if it would be better to fast after I've been Raw for a while. Help!

Why do you feel the need to fast at all?
My suggestion: do the 30 days, 100%. No fasting unless you have a dire health issue?

You could test the waters and see if you are ready to fast by starting out each day fasting and then seeing how long you can fast.

I would say that it all depends on why you feel you would need to do a fast first? Like Revvell said. However, I did do the Master Cleanse fast first. 1) I had done the MC before and truly enjoyed the taste and knew that it would help stifle my cravings. 2) I also knew that I would jump start some poundages 3) It was all mind over matter...I knew I would feel immediate progress towards my goal of good health.
I did the fast for 15 days and then started on eating completely raw and have not eaten anything but raw since (9 months). Will that happen to you? I can't say it will but I can tell you that I also went this route because I knew I never wanted to eat anyother way again and I knew that this was the best way for me to achieve that goal.
You have some questions to ask yourself that only you can answer.
Whatever you decide for yourself know it is the best decision if you are planning to make eating completely raw your lifestyle.
Enjoy and Embrace your journey!!
