How long will the bloating last? I was feeling so good and doing so well, and all of a sudden since noon today I have bloated up 6 pounds in water retention!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I feel soooo uncomfortable and yucky. Is this a normal reaction when doing the switch over? Part of detox??? When will it end?????????

I totally had bloating as well, as my body got used to the extra fiber. I drank extra water and tried to keep my intake of foods "pure" like fruits and veggies mainly instead of all the nuts and avocado I had been having.

It will go down as you progress... my bloating during PMS this time was minimal.

Good luck! Hope you feel better :)

I only have bloating as a result of poor food combining. Write down what you have had before the bloating and look for a pattern.

It's gonna happen cuz your body is reorganizing it's digestion.

Ride it out and it will get better :)
I agree that you should learn or use proper food combining (do a search here for it or google it and you will learn alot)

Just hang in there and you will feel better I am sure

It took me eight weeks for it to go away. Then it suddenly just disappeared overnight.

You know it!!!!!!!!!!

Many have done the bloating ballon effect. As Monkeyboy phrased it to me 2 years ago "The Macy's Parade" I have to find that thread b/c it was so darn funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get some great blood flowing exercises, deep breathing into the belly, back off from any dehydrated foods, roughage and eat softer foods to ease that feeling in your stomach. Stay hydrated too.

I'm gonna find that thread for ya :p

Try warm water and lemon pulp in the evening for next day relief. Helps mainly with H2O retention, not bloating associated with gas and gulped air while eaing :p

Pilates is good for cirulation to plus siting in a dry sauna to release toxins

Thank you al for the advice, and most importantly, to know it happens to others, not just me. It seems to be all water, as the 6 pounds of weight are gone in the morning.......

It IS like being blown up like a balloon! Even my back and neck, and legs and upper arms are almost DOUBLE in size in the evening as compared to the morning. It is AWEFUL!!!!!
