Right now I order my greens online and they are shipped from California all the way to me in Virginia. The quality is so so. Unfortunately I dump a lot of what they send me and I'm getting tired of it. The first two orders looked spectacular, but since then they have gone downhill significantly. Now most of the greens are discolored with holes and sometimes wilted. I pay over $25 every week just to get them shipped. I'm wondering if it would be wise to just switch over to non-organic greens that I can get at the grocery store and wash them really good. I would save over $1300 a year if I did not order the greens online. I can afford to pay that price, but it gets old really fast to get less that top quality food when you're paying more for it.

So save $1300 and get non-organic, and organic when I can find it 10-20% of the time, or pay a lot more and get mediocre organic greens. I would really like to save that money, but I don't want to go filling my body with harmful junk, so I don't really know what is best.

You can get organic in Florida, which is MUCH closer to you, why not do this, there may be someone on this board, that would be willing to ship them to you for a price, maybe one of our younger members who really needs some money,

OR..... if you CAN afford this, I would keep getting organic, it is soooooo much better for you, remarkebly so, I mean the non-organic, especially in greens is a major difference.

You should sprout greens in order to reduce your need. Alfalfa is easy and generates so much baby greens.
You can also grow a lot of stuf. I grow kale, basil, spinach and lettuce in my window.

You just need a better source for buying produce. There's several to choose from. What state are you in?
