Hey everyone!
Well, I just started my 30 day challenge yesterday, and have to say I cheated a little already :( But...I'm picking up and moving on, and I -will- do this! I keep reading about green smoothies, and know there will be some recipes here somewhere if I look hard enough. But what are your fave green smoothie recipes? I'd love to try some :)
Thanks!
Trish

Peaches, bananas and spinach. I don't have a Vitamix, so I just throw in some water. It's a pretty green color and makes you feel better after you drink it.
Enjoy!

1. Banana, lemon juice and zest, spinach
2. Banana, cacao powder, spinach
3. strawberries, lime juice, spinach
4. strawberries, walnuts, blueberries, romaine
5. strawberries, cherries, spinach, vanilla bean
All of those are best thinned out with mostly nut milk and a little water, you can use stevia, honey, agave necter ect.. as a sweetener

My favorite when I want a treat rather than something that tastes "good for you" is two bananas, a third of a pineapple, and two handfuls of spinach. Spinach makes a smoothie bright green, but isn't at all bitter or "green" tasting.

My other favorite - half a cantaloupe, a banana, and some celery. It's a fresh-tasting smoothie, perfect for a hot summer's day.
