View Full Version : Can anyone give me an idea of what they eat in a day

Hello all
well eating raw ss going well for me, the only problem i habe is that on some days i over eat and others i tend to over eat and i would like to stop that from happening.
So if anyone is willing to post or tell me how they eat on a daily basis i would love to hear about what they do, i have lost around 8 pounds so far, but i have dark rings under my eyes, how can i make them go away?

And on the days that i am not 100% raw i get diarrhoea now, hot one too!!! Excuse the details!!! :p

hiya :D

Some days I eat barely anything, focusing on fruit and lots of water, while others I'm really into avocados and nuts, and some is all about salad.

I can give you the last couple of days of what I've been eating.

Yesterday:
~water all day
~one pineapple
~3 nectarines
~4 mangoes
~avocado
~slice of "pizza"

Today so far:
~water
~chocolate pudding RAW!! (it's the PMS talking :p )
~strawberries and blueberries
and I have a big bunch of kale out ready for juicing in a little while.

During the summer it's easy to eat less because of the heat... just go with what your body wants. I can see how you would have tummy upset when you aren't 100% raw, because your system is so used to all that wonderful fiber and nutrients, and then when you eat something cooked, it says "hey man I want rid of this" LOL

Coriander74 - do you plan whcih days you'll just do water/fruit and the days you do heavier items or do you just wake up and do what you feel like?

I wake up and do what I feel like :D Of course, I will try my best to keep it somewhat balanced, this past few days I've been having Moon-time and my hormones are deciding what I want. However, like yesterday, all I really wanted was nice cool refreshing fruit, so that's what I had :)

I just eat RAW! Today:

Breakfast

nothing

Lunch

guacomole salad

nectarines

grapes

dinner

coconut

....and fixing to have some mangos and I will most likely have some cucumbers tonight too.

it's changes all the time for me. i really get into one thing - like huge salads w/ my favorite raw dressing, or bananna/avo pudding, or raw fudge.
i do notice one thing that is always true - i tend to over eat when i don't get enough greens. so, 2 greens smoothies are pretty much a staple for me everyday. one in the morning & one in the evening. the rest of the day i eat what i feel like.

The only thing that is regular for me is breakfast. The rest is dictated by the gods!

I do very much listen to my body and not to a "what should I eat" mentality and this works well for me.

On bedside table to wake up to:

Bowl of cherries
lg glass water

Before Noon:

My Superman Smoothie
Nectarine

between noon - 6:

walnuts
1/2 avocado w/ lemon & salt
Maraws Spinach & Herb Soup
More Superman Smoothie
water

After 6:

Big batch of Orange Julius - -it's VERY hot today

I find with 100% my appetite is is hardly there at all :p

hmm what lovely things did I consume today...

am- liter of water with two teaspoons of MSM, stevia, 1/2 lemon

more water...

1 liter of water with 2 T Vitamineral green, 1/2 grapefruit, stevia

the woman I work for gave me a bowl of shredded yams (raw of course) with coconut butter that she made... incredible! such a treat

some celery, 1/2 very small (and rather tasteless) canteloupe

blueberries!

(Large!) Romaine and garden kale Salad with cherry tomatoes and an avocado, ceasar dressing, a few flax crackers, some celery

2 small pieces of cacao chocolates, last bite of vanilla white chocolate ice cream

16oz green juice with kale, celery, lemon and a tiny apple

every day is different! and exciting!
also I certainly didn't eat this way when I started... see what works for you
I will say the vitamineral green & greens juice are my favorite things in my diet... they satisfy me like NOTHING else... amazing :)

I eat whatever I feel like eating, but it's mosly fruit, with usually one small meal of prepaired foods.


today I had:

Breakfast:
1 cup ginseng tea
1/4 cup coconut

snack:
1 cup almond milk
3 1/2 dates

lunch:
5 rawviolies (turnips & nuts)
1/4 cup marinara sauce (tomatoes & herbs)

snack:
1 plum
2 small pickled cucumber
12 oz. orange juice
1/4 cup pineapple

dinner:
4 oz. orange juice
1/2 brownie (walnuts, dates, cacao powder)
1/4 cup pecans

so you can see the only thing I ate that wasn't fruit, was the cacao powder, the turnip, ginseng tea and some herbs, everything else is fruit.

I find this works best for me.

I just eat when I want, what I want, and I ate alot today compared to most days.

Of course it varies from day to day but my usual day would be...

green smoothie
green juice
large green salad
a main dish like a raw tomato soup or raw dessert like date-nut torte
banana ice cream and some sort of cocoa sauce on top
raw brownies and raw fudge

Right now I am all Fruit from Monday to Friday. All fruit with bulgar wheat on the weekends. Yesterday (Friday) I made a complete pig out of myself :p

I had just came off of a fast on Thursday which definitely had something to do with it :rolleyes:

Breakfast:
34oz of water. 3 bananas. Large bowl of fruit salad.

Lunch:
34oz of water. 1/3 of a large watermelon. 1 plum.

dinner:
4 chopped apples with 2 avocados (seasoned and alfalfa sprouts added), then another avocado and 4 mangos :eek:

I forgot to drink my third 34oz bottle of water like I normally do. I think if I had done that I probably wouldn't have wanted to eat so much for dinner. But as they say, it was all good ;)

I have not found any pattern yet other than I have fruit before 10 am then I have a taste for greens and veggies :D

Breakfast:

Water with a couple drops of 35% HP
Mangos
Grapes
Cherries
Big glas of OJ
or a Green Smoothie

Snack:
Banana
Apple
More Cherries! Yum

Lunch:
(This is my current Fav I eat everyday lunch or dinner)
Chopped salad of
Tomatoes, Corn, Zucchini, vidalia onion, splash of Olive oil and ACV,
kelp sprinkles and a little Celtic sea salt

Snack:
Celery and Sunflower pate
Red pepper

Dinner:
Sweet Potato Curry with more sunflower pate or
Joz's Corn Chowder YUMMY! or
Marinated mushrooms and flax crackers

Snack:
RP's Chocolate Mousse made into ice cream (Oh to die for) or
Raw fudge or
Rp's Brownies

It's morning and I have had my water and I AM HUNGRY :)

That really all depends. Some days all I'm hungry for is an apple, others I want a small handful of nuts, a huge salad, a few nectarines, some plums, and an orange or 10 :D etc. Or sometimes I want 5 avocados and then a coconut. Then some days I'll have some gourmet raw. Lately I've been eating less because I just haven't felt like I needed more. It all depends though. I eat a balance of most things. The only thing I don't eat a lot of is nuts, fats because I don't desire them too often and I don't get enough dark leafy greens because I struggle with the taste, but my body tells me that I need more so I'll eat more soon.

Hi there,

I just responded to the 80/10/10 question, so I've copied my response here for you. :-)

Breakfast--one or two honeydew melons
Lunch--three or four bananas
snack-- a handful of dates
Dinner-large salad with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatos--topped with my favorite fat free dressing--OJ blended with a couple of tomatoes and a cup or so of dates.

Breakfast--a pound of grapes
Lunch-4 or 5 of the little yello ataulfo mangoes (would be 2-3 large mangoes)
Dinner--4 or 5 bananas

Breakfast--one or two honeydew melons
Lunch-7 or 8 little donut peaches
snack-a handful of dates
Dinner--a large salad with tomatoes and cucumber and my favorite fatty dressing, avocado blended with OJ. Yummy!

I love eating this way, it is so simple and I feel better than I have in years! :-)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your amazing feedback, I have not been eating much of late and the bloating has stopped, i have lost weight too, my boyfriend came to pick me up and was suprised at the weightloss!!!

RAW food is amazing.......truly amazing! :D
