I will honor every detoxd symptoms during my fast with clamness and love!

I am going to approach my family members and firends with LOVE before I get caught up in being too busy and irritation.

I will allow the vibrations of success to surround while I work with my customers/clients.

I will allow my feminine energy to signal out to my "soulmate" that I am seeking him.

I will tap into the highest level of healing and rid my body of this ongoing infection.

I tend not to make goals or at least think of things in terms of goals because for some reason that just seems to set me up for failure. If I say with authority that I am going to do something (but am not entirely sure that I can or will) and then for whatever reason am not able to do it, I get upset. And not only do I get upset but other people tend to take note of it and rub it in.

However, I do think at times I possess psychic abilities and on occasion I just know something is going to happen. I don't even actually think out the thought clearly in my mind. I will just blurt it out and then it happens. Sometimes soon after it happens. Sometimes a few days later. Sometimes I will even know when it will happen. Like tomorrow. Alas I really have no control over this and if I want to know something it won't necessarily come to me. Although sometimes it will. This is just something very different though. And even though the thing I know will happen might in fact be something I might term as being a goal, it just isn't the same thing. It's very hard for me to describe. Both those around me can tell when it's happening. My tone of voice will change. Something about my aura or something will change. They just know. They've seen it happen enough to know.

When I first met the woman who is now my sister in law, she challenged me on something I said. Didn't sound plausible at all and I couldn't give her a reason for why I said what I said. Other than that I just knew. But my mom knew. She merely told her to believe me when I began talking like that because I was right. And sure enough I was. Wish I could remember now what the issue was, but that was many years ago and in the overall scheme of things, it was nothing major. I just remember her telling me it couldn't be true and then having it happen. Hehe.

I am however making a strong effort to bring only positivity into my life and focus on only those things that I want, either now or for the future. Negativity simply does not work and I feel if you are living your life in a state of negativity you will never get out of it until you change your mindset.

I did a lot of soul searching back in my 30's. Spent countless hours meditating and working on improving my life. It really worked. And then I got lax about things, merely throwing myself into the universe with the attitute of what was meant to happen would happen. During this period of time, I got married. This was not in my life plan! Never ever thought that would happen. I was too much of a free spirit for that. Lapse in judgement perhaps. But I allowed it to happen.

Then I had a baby. Never thought that would happen either. I'm not one of those people who is overly fond of babies or children. I am good with them. They are always drawn to me and seem to like me. And I think I relate well to them. Although at times people have questioned my methods. I simply refuse to talk baby talk to them and I don't candy coat things for them. I figure this is how the world is and they have to get used to it. My brother and SIL used to tell me they could always tell whether or not I had been watching my nephew or my parents had been watching him because his vocabulary would increase when he was around me. Now mind you, they weren't complaining at all. My nephew is a genius. Has his AA degree and is heading off to college this fall at age 17.

Now even though I never envisioned myself having children, I now have one. One and only one. I did decide I would have no more. One is enough, even though she does dearly want a brother or sister. There again, people sometimes question me about her when they learn that she wasn't a planned child. Too bad the old ESP thing didn't click in when I did the pregnancy test. Oh no. I was really in a state of denial then! Heh. But after that, I knew she was a girl and I knew she would be fine.

I remember coming back here to visit when I was pregnant. I'd had a difficult pregnancy and 5 threatened miscarriages. At this point I'd had only two of them. Had one while I was here actually. I'd gone shopping with my parents and my mom found some stuffed animals that were really soft. She picked up a pink walrus and remarked that she would like to buy it for the baby but it was just too early. She had a bad feeling about whether or not the baby would even make it into this world given all the problems I'd had. And also she wasn't sure the pink color would be right. The ESP kicked in then. I told her to go ahead and buy it. Angela would be born and indeed she was a girl. "Okay", my mom said. "When you put it like that, I will buy it". My daughter loves that story. And she still has the walrus. It is tucked away in a safe place.

So I did have the baby and for the first couple years of her life, things didn't go so swimmingly. I had tons of health problems. Yes, I did try to make some changes in my life, but was feeling weak and defeated. I realized then that just bobbing along and allowing the universe to do to me what it would wasn't necessarily the right decision. I don't regret doing that. And indeed that IS actually what I did. I remember looking up at the night sky one day when things weren't going particularly well and saying just that. "I'm going to throw myself headlong into this universe and what happens to me will just happen!" Perhaps in some ways this was needed. Sort of like a vacation of the mind. I went through the motions of things without having to have any deep thoughts or things of the sort. But no longer.

I realized that now that I do have a child it is up to me to be the parent that I should. And to do that, I had to work on me so I could be the best me I could and not just a body walking around going through the motions of life.

So every day, I take pleasure in the things that are going right in my life. I do not beat myself up if I screw something up. I just try to learn from the mistake. Instead of setting specific goals, I tell myself things like how I am going to be as fit and as strong as I can possibly be. I will feed my body to be as well nourished as it can. And despite all the terrible things I see around me in my daily life, I will try still rejoice in those good things in my life and in the world. I'm also a writer. That helps a lot. Sometimes in my writing I can work through issues I couldn't ordinarily do otherwise. Here is one of my poems I particularly like.

For the fruits of the earth
So bounteous and sweet.

For a soft fluffy cat
To rub against my feet.
