"You Look Like You're 18"

Wow raw must be doing its magic! I am only 26 so I'm still young, but what a compliment! I don't think I look 18 at all but today someone that I see weekly mentioned that I look like I'm 18 and a lady nearby said I definitly look under 20. I surprised them by saying I'm 26.
I forget why we got on the topic of my age but this has made my day.

I know the feeling. When people see me with my 5 kids I often get asked my age since I look 23 and my looks don't fit having an 11 year old. I'm going to be 33 next month and love hearing that I look so young.

Yup, it's that old raw magic, the true fountain of youth.

Two weeks ago, I went home on an extended visit to see my parents and ran into a lot of people I grew up with but hadn't seen for years. They were all like, "OMG you look fantastic." One guy I used to flirt with in high school yelled at me across the beach, "Is that you Lynn, you are GORGEOUS." And one of my dad's acquaintances asked what college I went to. My dad was like "uh, she was in college 20 years ago."

See, I'm at the age (41) where people are starting to get that middle age spread. They are starting to get that stooped-over, tired look about them. I saw this in a lot of my old friends. But I know that if I keep eating raw, I will grow older but I'll still look good bc I'll FEEL GOOD inside. It's all about that inner glow, I truly believe that that's what people are responding to when they say you look younger.

When I look in the mirror I don't see someone who could pass for college, but early 30s, definitely.

I'm so glad to read about this ladies! It must be that youthful/healthy glow from eatting raw. :D

Swingbolder -- You look as young as one of the TAs at my school, & they're about in their mid-20s! I also showed my mom this thread(she's 42), & she's thinking about going RAW, hehe. :p

It definitly is the glow that does it...the clear eyes, smooth skin and just overall healthy appearance that takes years off.

I have a similar story,

I've lost 55 pounds, and I went to a gathering last night, and everyone came up to me to say, that I looked soooooo good, and what was I doing, did I have a face lift? how much weight did I lose? what was my secret?

My face grew up fast. When I was 10 people thought I was 12-14 and I LOVED it! It stayed that way until I was started doing raw for long stretches. I have customers ask me how old I am. They all think I'm 14. A few (elderly couple) said "I can't believe they let middle schoolers work these days!" Seems that the longer I'm raw I'm decreasing in age...many say I'm 12 now :( I don't like it anymore since I'm 19 haha. One girl saw me and said I looked "so much healthier. You glow and your eyes are so white!"

When I was younger, people thought I was older than I really was... not because of my looks, but because of how intelligently I spoke and how I carried myself. Now I'm 22 but look 17/18.

Dreamrawalwz, I certainly wouldn't think you look twelve. I don't know how old I would hold you for then either, I guess you look pretty ageless to me! You're a timeless beauty :)

I have people tell me the exact same thing. I have four children and my oldest just turned 13. I am 32.

I love it when I am out with only one child and people ask me if it is my first. They can't believe that I have four and that one is a teenager.

I'm 31 LOL... I actually was carded about a month ago when I wanted a sip of my sister's wine (at her birthday dinner). My sister is 28 and she was sooo upset when they didn't card her!!!!!!! :D

Yup you are good. I will be 36 in September. I usually get about 10 years younger especially in person. I think because I am a very petite person.

But I will take that.
