Crispy corn chips??

Has any one made the Corn Chips in Alissa's book? Are they good? Did you put the carrots in them? Does anyone have a corn chip or tortilla chip recipe that is light and crispy, that they love? I have tried David Wolfes and another form the web, but I didn't care for them. I always get a little bummed when I try a new recipe and I don't like it.
