I'm not sure if it's cause it's summertime or what. But I have had no appetite for greens whatsoever. I've been wanting fruit every day. Do I just listen to my body or shovel in some greens?? I'm going on week 2 now.

I would I think it is so very important to learn our own internal body language! When the need for green arrives your body will tell you!!!

It's funny, cause I usually do that. But since it's been going on for awhile, I was starting to freak out! Thank you!!

I'd say listen to your body. =) When it asks for fruit, it can't be wrong.

I'm the exact same way!!! All I want is fruit!
I will shove some greens into my juicer though and get the nutrients that way if not the fiber. Still is refreshing and very very green. I agree with the others :) Listen to our bodies.

I find with myself that it is the season, there is soooo much fruit. Fruit is at a reasonable price, and it is sooooo easy to prepare...........

I get my greens through making a fruit shake and them putting baby spinach in it. You can't taste it, and even though my body often is not "craving" this, I always feel so much better after drinking it. I recommend strawberries or raspberries. You'll never taste the greens.

I don't hardly ever eat greens, if at all, not even salads anymore, I just eat what my body wants. it works for me!!!

If I listened to my body I would never have any greens but I have being taking note of what all the experts are saying so I try to have them anyway.
I agree that if your body is asking you for something in particular then you may be needing that but that does not mean that you can just stop having greens. I would love if it did.

I don't ususally "crave" greens, but I try to eat some everyday and I always feel WONDERFUL after eating some, even if I wasn't craving them

The body naturally tends toward more water rich foods in the heat. So go for it...
I know for me if I eat too much fruit I feel a bit in la la land, and I desire my green juices, kale, and just lots and lots of cucumbers. But that's me. I don't crave fruit much. Romaine gets me salivating! As long as you feel grounded and balanced, eat away!

Hi..this has happened to me!! I normally have a huge salad/greens every day and if I miss one day I really crave it the next. However, the last week and a half, I just didn't want a salad or any greens at all and have been devouring fruits like crazy. I just went with it and yesterday I enjoyed my first salad and it tasted absolutely great!!

I'm the same way. I don't really like the taste of greens and I never crave them but I eat enough because I feel that I need them for some reason. I figure that if I didn't feel a need for them, I could just only eat fruits but I do so I won't. Anyway, I do think you should eat what feels right to you. But I think it can go beyond taste. I do hope that I like the taste of dark leafy greens more someday. I say, enjoy your fruit and if you start to feel like you need greens more someday, have them. And remember that we don't all need every nutrient in the spectrum, every single day. Maybe one day we need more vitamin C than anything else, and then another day we'll need more calcium etc.

your body goes through transitions. Listen to it and flow with it.

Trust your body. You'll be just fine. You may crave greens again soon, but if you don't thats ok too. :-) Summertime! Gotta love it!!
Take care,
Audrey
