I finished my 30 day 100%raw the end of December and with the holidays and so on, I oozed back into cooked foods. I remember thinking at the time I was raw, that I didn't feel that much different. Then when I started eating cooked again (its been a month now) I notice how bad I feel. As humans it sucks that we stop doing something good for us, just to test the waters.
I don't think I did it intentionally but nevertheless, it was done. Now I miss the clarity of raw, I can see now how different I did feel, smell, and look. It's crazy what our mind and emotional state can do to us. So I am jumping back on the wagon!!!!!. I have been reading the posts almost everyday and you all help so much, just to know that others are going or have gone through the same thing. I think this weekend i am going to the health food store and stocking back up on produce. I have never done a MC but I am going to try one, to get the crap out I just ate this month. I will post how it is going in that section, but just wanted to say thanks to you all!

Good for you Brenda- I did the same thing when I first started raw- yo, yo back and forth.

When the new year came, that's when I gave it my all. I agree with you, you just smell better, feel better, look better, and get more done on raw! It is amazing the effects food has on us. It is so easy to just go back to the old habits... but now that YOU have realized what positive effects raw has on you- you will see that it is much harder to slip off the wagon... I know that is true for me atleast.

Good luck on your new and improved journey- You are not alone, we are all here for you and we are all fighting the same beast!

Here's to a 100% raw day...and a raw life forever!

Welcome back Brenda!! Yeah, I think we all (or at least most of us) can attest to having yo-yo'd as Melissa said! But the beauty of this whole thing is that although you didn't really recognize the changes that had taken place when you were raw for the 30 days, you were able to realize them after having gone back to a cooked diet...you were able to see that there HAD really be some changes in how you felt, looked, etc.

Well, we're all pulling for you and here for you! Best wishes to you!!

Welcome back on board! We'll scootch over and make some room!

It is a journey isn't it. I too find the differences in how I feel both physically and mentally quite astounding when I am not eating lots of cooked.

I was noticing the other day that I wasn't needing to use the thai deodorant crystal everday either...As we move thru detox into wellness our entire body is radiating health!

Cassy. :)
