I need some help.

You all were so great with your suggestions the last time I needed some input.

I have to avoid fruit since I have a little candida. It turns out I don't have a whole lot, though I understand that what's more relevant is one's sensitivity to yeast rather than how much of it's in the system. Anyway, my doctor said berries were okay. Of course, they're incredibly expensive right now here in the Northern hemisphere, but I did buy some frozen organic blueberries that I'm hoping weren't heat treated in any way.

I just don't know what to eat for breakfast. I've been drinking coconut water the last couple of days, but I'd really like to eat something solid. I know that a traditional anti-candida diet is supposed to avoid not just simple carbohydrates but also potatoes and grains. Do you think sprouted buckwheat would be okay? I remember seeing a recipe for it in one thread.

Any ideas?

I would be so grateful. I really want this to work and I'm not even considering going over to the other side (cooked food, hee hee); I just can't face salads in the morning!

Read that one should stick to a "Low Glycemic Index" diet. Bath with apple cider vinegar (2 cups) this will bring your ph balance level back to the body.

In our prayers.

God Bless U

Thanks. Do you have any idea who bathing in it will help my digestive system? I can't figure that out.

RawTruth,

I don't know if you saw this thread or not: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1628

but thought of it as I read your post regarding Candida.

It is actually the over-consumption of fat that causes more candida flare-ups. You can eat fruit early in the day and on an empty stomach and it shouldn't give you any problems. But eat it with fat, and the fat is going to keep the sugar in your system a lot longer, which causes the candida overgrowth. Many folks have gotten rid of their candida for good on a very low fat diet and proper food combining in just a couple of weeks. Those same folks were on anti-candida diets for years without any relief. Dr. Graham has helped many folks with this - you may want to ask more about it on his message board: http://www.vegsource.com/talk/raw/index.html

No, Rawkinlocs, I hadn't seen it. Funny, since, apparently it started with my comment about the link between fats and candida. Ha ha!! I'm still learning my way around the forum. I seem to miss a lot. On that subject, is the best way to stay on top of things to keep checking "New Posts"??

Thanks!

Also, thank you, Sharon.. Yes, I know about Dr. Graham's site and the forum he hosts, also. I just get into listening to the "authorities" sometimes, I think. But, my doctor, even though he's natural and alternative, still isn't that up on the "latest" nutritional stuff.

I'll have to give the fat/candida stuff a serious reading tonight. Gosh, it doesn't seem like I'm ever going to get away from my computer!

Darn, I just gave away a full bag of all my luscious organic fruit!
