I don't have too much weight to lose, maybe like 35 lbs to be at my ideal weight. I havent ever considered this bootcamp. But I am interested in finding out why this program isnt for you Lana? Did you attend it and not agree with the program? What other input can you offer?

There is a program that I have been trying to save up money to attend. I was planning on going this August but I got into grad school so my summer schedule is alot different than I originally intended. So hopefully I'll get to go during Christmas break? the website is www.bajalifecamp.com Check it out :D

I visited the bajalife camp website a few weeks ago and found it very interesting. I would enjoy something like that.

The bootcamp has a minum weight to lose requirement of 50-55lbs. .Something like that, it's mentioned on the site.

Autumn from this forum, is one of the administrators there, and she has lost a lot of weight, it really works, if you work it.

I don't know about Lanasq, but I do know that some people just can't handle the weiging in, and the low fat aproach, that is why Carlene (the founder) -- who also is from this site, decided to add several different types of boot camps, some are more fat and gourmet for those transitioning to Raw etc.

So you have lots of options to choose from.

I like Carlene and her aproach, which is definitely a "no nonsense" type of aproach, if you want to lose weight, that is the place to go.

I however, love Alissa's aproach, "eat raw" basically it's that simple, and that works for me.

I say, "to each his/her own" and I'm glad that we have so many options as Raw foodists.

I'm curious to know of your bootcamp experience as well. If you don't want to post here, could you email me at interpreterjess@aol.com? Thanks in advance either way!

Ok-so here's my story. I'm not saying anything negative-as the ladies there are fantastic-but what did NOT work for me was the tracking & the low-fat Raw.

I found myself food-obsessed, obsessed with fitday, & I prefer Alissa's approach to Raw.

In my experience with raw-I was doing great before I started limiting things. Then it was like my body/mind/spirit were rebelling on me. I knew that I had to come back to RFT.

I know that Bootcamp works for a LOT of ladies-it's just not right for me.

So that's my humble opinion. I hope that helps.

i am doing bootcamp. i love it. it has really helped me! not only with weight loss but with starting to overcome food addictions and snacking/binging etc. it really is helping me to focus more on living my life and not living my life for food. i am happy to have the option of doing it. for me, it is helpful in starting to set a new mind set - one where i can be thin for life. i still have some tweaking to do but know i am on the right path. there are a lot of ladies there that are really successful and what an inspiration they are!
