I am not a fan of tahini. The taste really bothers me. I have many recipes that call for it and I am wondering what I can use as a substitute for the tahini.

I would think any nut or seed butter.

Pailani is right,
I use tahini, coconut, and nuts as substitutes all the time, the tahini just is more creamy with more natural oils that's all, I often use nuts and a bit of olive oil in exchange, or vise versa.
