This is just a take off another thread and I was curious. I know everyone's body is different so I'm not going to compare myself.

For me I think I am best around 115 as long as I'm toned, but around 110 if I'm not toned at all. At the moment I'm 120-125 wearing a size 4/5 and it's "large" for my frame. It's weird because 4 pounds for me could mean dropping 2 pant sizes!

Anyway, I'm just wondering what others weigh and their sizes around my height.

I'm 5'4" and 145 lbs. Same weight I started out at before raw 2 months ago, and same weight now.

I'm a bit larger than I am comfortable at. I'm usually about 130-135ish. I'm pretty curvy, even when thinner. I usually wear a 9. At 130-135, I wear a 9. At 155 (my highest weight) I wore an 11. Right now, I can wear some of both.

My friend is really thin, she's 5'8" and 135ish. She wears a 7 or a 9.

I think the media has completely screwed up what REAL sizes are.

i.e. the weightloss commercials where she's like "I used to be 250 lbs. I lost 50 lbs, and I wear an 8." Yeah. Right. So people look at a 200 lb person, and think "That's an 8."

So when I say I wear a 9, the people who are looking right at me don't believe me, and those who've never seen me (like online, for instance) imagine me to be huge.

I'm 5'6" and I fluctuate between 112 and 118 and have for the last 2 years. Before that and on my journey from a cooked vegan to a raw one I was at my highest about 140.

I think for me that 115 is perfect, I feel great and have no tummy (my trouble spot) and I'm very toned and wear a size 4 in pants.

Now my family likes me to be no less than 125, but for me I am uncomfortable at that weight due to it being all in my tummy and when even bending over causes discomfort then I don't think it is healthy for me!

Codajess-You look wonderful in that picture! You are lucky to be curvy, take it from someone who is pretty much straight up and down!

I am 5'7" and 128 at the moment. I have lost about 40 pounds already over the last two years and I want to lose another 5 to 8 max - I had an operation and hormone treatment in 2003 and gained about 45 pounds. Due to hormonal problems it was slow and difficult to shed the weight but I am in a range now where I feel comfortable.

People usually guess I am about 120 as I have a large frame and am quite muscular. I look lighter than I am, runs in the family.

I am a runner and I know that everything from 118 to 122 is the right weight for me as it's the best weight for running (or I feel it is).

Oops, and now I noticed I should have paid more attention to the title which clearly says 5'4 to 5'6... :o

I'm 5'4" and weigh about 235, I was at 288 just a few months ago, but being raw, has melted me down to where I am now,

as an adult, I have never been under 137 pounds, got there once, while extreme dieting and starving, I think I was there for one day, LOL

usually I was about 160 to 180 in my 20's 180 to 220 in my 30's 250 to 280 in my 40's then on up to 288 at 53, LOL, when I was in 5th grade at 10 years old I was 128, the heaviest and tallest in the class, at 5' 3 1/2", but I only grew 1/2 more inch, and that was in my 30's I believe after chiropractic with several car accidents. but I have always been heavy, except as a small child, around 5 years old, all my othere pics are of me quite heavy.

I am really looking forward to wearing some of my old clothes, as they are back in style, all my 60's hippy clothes, my Gunny Sax and things -- people have coveted them for eons, and I'll be wearin' them sooooonly.

I'm 5'5" and weigh 130-135 pounds. I wear a size 4. I've been 95-100% raw for 2 months now and about 50-80% raw for the prior year. Once I went 95-100% raw, the pounds dropped off. I'm still dropping in size, but not on the scale. I think this is due to the fact that I exercise heavily and the healthier I get on raw, the more muscle I build. Muscle weighs more than fat, and I've got quite a lot of muscle. :p

I'm 5'4 and I don't weigh often at all because it makes me obsessive. But, last year after I first started raw I lost some and I did weigh because I was feeling good. I was hovering around 124-126. This felt good. But this winter I weighed and I was 130 or 132. I was feeling blah because there just wasn't that much fresh produce to eat and I was eating a lot of nuts, grains, etc. I thought I better check the weight and that's what it was. So, hmmm... I guess my raw range has been 124-132 depending on "how good" I'm being I guess.

I workout several times a week so some of this is muscle weight. ;)

On clothes sizes I used to say I'd never go above a 7-8, so I would just refuse to buy something if that size didn't fit. But I think the clothes sizes in the last...maybe 4 years, have gotten really wacked. At Old Navy today I put on a size 2 skirt and I had room to spare. Yeah, right. I've never been a 2. The clothes I get at say Penneys or something are usually a small top and a 6 skirt. But, I think they are making clothes bigger and are making the sizes smaller so people don't feel so bad about being heavy I guess. I don't get it.

Leiloshka:

I think you are right about the way the stores are sizing clothes these days. People in general have gotten heavier over the years and I think it's a marketing thing for the stores to make the clothes run big so that people will think they are smaller than they are. Then they will want to buy more.

Wow, size 8 and 11s?!?! I would die to be that size! I wear an embarrassing size that is waaaaay beyond that and one I hate, which is why I want to lose weight!! I was a size 18 at like 12! I think a 14 and below is perfect for a woman! And those commercials are bull in my opinion!

Yeah, Booboo, and since I don't like to weigh, I used to just cut back when my clothes felt tight. But if I'm wearing a 4 in something (like some pants last summer) I might in my mind go...well, it's a little snug but it's a 4. I wish clothes stayed a "true" size.

I think those days are gone though.

wow, all you people are short :D

Hey now, we're not short!! lol

Don't get me started on cothing sizes and that industry. It gets me so upset. I usualy end up in the dressing room crying (sad and pathetic, i know!). One day I went through all my pants and a size 9 was too tight while a size 4 was too big. It's crazy. I think they make things smaller just to torture girls, what do you think!? Old Navy does make things bigger though since I used to fit a 0 in them while other stores I was a 2/4.

I am 5'3" and I am currently 110. My highest was 125 for a few weeks in college...... But mainly I have been around 115 to 110. Shortly after I went raw I got realy realy sick and didn't eat for three days and went down to 105. It took a long time to gain those five pounds back, but I finaly did. I kinda liked being 105, but I also think I looked somewhat anorexic. If I exercised and toned my muscle I would go back to 115, though, as that is where I was when I was exercising A LOT at work.

I wear a size 5 jeans.... I only buy one brand as you are all right- the sizes are all wacked out!! I went into one store and couldn't even find a size small enough- size zero fell off me!!! And then I wear a ten elsewhere. My sister bought two pairs of pants at old navy when they were on sale- two sizes, because she didn't know which she would fit into, having just lost weight from having a baby. She fit in the larger size and gave the other to me- a size 4. And I told her- no, they won't fit- I'm the size you are!! But, I put them on, and they were perfect. So, I have decided that the scale is more important than my cloth size, as the manufacturers all do different things. Sooooo annoying, as I have to try on multiple pairs of anything if they are not the jeans I normaly wear.

I am 5 ft 4 and my perfect weight is 125 - size 6.
Haven't seen that weight/size since my son was born in 1998.
Sigh.......

Im am not 100% raw, I wish I could be but everyone I know thinks I am fanatical enough at just being vegan. Anyway I am 5'5-6 and I weigh 105. At my lowest was 98. I am actually trying to gain weight. I eat like avos everyday and raw almond butter and other nut butters, but I just cant seem to get above 105. My naturo doctor wants me to get to 110, but like I eat 6 meals a day. I just don't know. I feel healthy, but I know I am underweight according to BMI. I don't agree with the BMI 100% anyway though.
Ok Ciao!

I am 140lbs and wear a size 10. In some places I wear a 12. I can't stand tight pants though, I have to have a bit of extra room or else I feel really uncofortable.

I forgot to add that I am 5'5.

I'm 5'5 and I am usually between 112 - 118. Depending on the brand of clothing, I am between a 0 and 4. I have been raw for a little over 8 months now and I'm approximately the same size as I was before raw. I feel most comfortable between 112-115.

I'm quite shocked by how low 'acceptable' weight levels seem to be in the USA. I'm 5'5" and if I weighed as little as 135 lbs I think I would look quite skinny. (I am currently nearer 200lbs and reducing but have been 250lbs previously).

To me, to be 112 - 118 lbs at 5'5" is almost Victoria Beckham/Nicole Ritchie proportions!

However, on the plus side, I know it is better to be raw and if that's what people's weight settles at, that must be right for them. I'm just hoping to get to my first goal of 170lbs and go from there.

I'm 5'5" and weigh approx 105 -- that was my weight all through high school and early 20's. (I'm now 57). When I went raw 2 years ago, I dropped 35 pounds, and now my weight stays pretty steady in the 103-107 range.

I agree about the crazy clothes sizes. I can wear a size 2 to a 8 in pants -- depends on the brand - totally nuts. Usually can get by with a small in tops, but sometimes they are way to small - and sometimes mediums are totally huge. I'm getting pretty good at 'eyeballing' stuff now.

I am 5'3 1/2 -5' 4" (sometimes at the doc they say I am one and sometimes the other, is measuring someone that hard?) You can see my weight marks. I am not sure what my weight is at this moment. I only weigh once a month.

The smallest adult weight I was at was about 117-121. I was a size 2.

I currently am wearing size 10 and very very very baggy 12 (I sooo need to give them up, LOL).

Almost 3 months ago I was wearing 14-16
