Hi Everyone!
I have been 100% raw for 2 months, and have had a horrible skin rash on my hands for the majority of this time. Way worse than what I occasionally got before going raw. This has cleared up only once over the past 2 months of raw, and that was when I was on an only orange diet for a week. It's not like eczema I used to have, but more like patches of red with tiny little blisters, with fluid in them.... I know, too much info! Sorry! Any suggestions for what I may be allergic to? Or could this be part of detoxing? I thought it might be cashews, but have cut them out of my diet allready. Is anyone allergic to other nuts/seeds/olives/olive oil/dried raisins/dates??? Or anything else?
Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated! :)

I have in the past been allergic to many things. If I may suggest that you just start eliminating one thing at a time till you figure it out. It could be any one of the foods you eat. Were there any new things that you never ever ate before going raw? I know many are allergic to mangos, causing breakouts, others nuts. But like I said it could be anything.

when you have had illness or disease in the past, it will resurface as you detox, it will pass.

but you may try just eating the oranges, or an orange juice fast to help clean out the toxins faster, if it works for you.

Since it's just on your hands I wonder if it could it be some kind of a contact reaction? To soap, or cleanser, or wool, or??? I know that there was a time that I used all sorts of cosmetics and cleansers with no outward sign that my body didn't like it. Then suddenly ALL soaps and cleansers started causing reactions.

Hope you feel better soon!

Might be dishydrosis. I get this from time to time on the sides of my fingers. Rarely get it here. Got it a lot in NY. The dermatologist didn't really know what causes it. He just said it's a form of eczema. He prescribed a steroid cream for it. If you don't have one, you can try an OTC cortisone cream. That seems to help as well, especially if you put it on at the first sign of it. Here's a link with pics.
