Red quinoa

Has anyone tried red quinoa ? I just bought some today and will try sprouting it. Last week I tasted some coked red quinoa at a friends house....very nutty, and full flavored compared to the normal quinoa.

I have never seen it or maybe just never noticed but will watch out for it. Can you let us know if it has sprouted. Quineo usually sprouts very quickly.
