Yes, that is right. I have been eating all the time.... can't get full.
I am wondering if I have worms or something? Don't think so as my weight is over 280 pounds.

I know you've been raw for a while but maybe you're still adjusting? I'm not sure.

The first 5 days on raw it was a constant eating frenzy. I started out with a chopped salad of tomatoes, corn, zuchinni. I ate the first bowl and it tasted so incredible that I had another and another. Then I went on to fruit.
I just think that the body has starved for so long and blocked the nutrition that when a little gets through it cries MORE MORE MORE!!.
As you begin to clean out and normalize you may lose your appitite alltogether for a while. I wouldnt worry about this at all!
BTW I started at over 280 myself and WOW the changes. WELL worth it!!
Stick with it and be good to your self. Study, learn and READ!

I tried doing the 80-10-10 diet thing (10% fat, 10% protein daily) and what I wreck I became! I was always hungry, snacking like crazy, and miserable. On top of that, my skin became totally dry and that was horrible.
I added back "fatty foods" like raw young coconuts, avocados (only 1/2 per day, never more than that) and seeds/nuts, to get to about 25%-30% and I feel MUCH better now.
Dry skin gone, rarely snack, not hungry between meals, and actually able to concentrate better!
I just had to experiment to find what was right for me. So, IMHO, try switching around what you're eating, see if things don't change for you - favorably!
Good luck!

Hey!! I have to agree w/ the above posters! Perhaps your body has been deprived for so long. Now that you're getting all this nutrition, your body must be excited & a little afraid that the nutrition it's getting may be temporary. Once the body figures out that it won't just be a temporary thing, it'll adjust. I guess it's the same thing as a person going through starvation mode. On SAD, a person is going through nutrition starvation mode for most of their lives. :o
Another point I'm speculating is that your body is really craving something, & you may not be able to pinpoint what this 'something' is yet. For some people, it takes a while for them to figure out what exactly their body is craving. As a result, they keep eatting & eatting w/o getting full. The body needs something it isn't getting!
In essence, I'm not sure, hehe.

Your body is having a nutrition fete! It is so happy at what you are feeding it to repair and give you energy! Party time! Once it reaches a saturation point and knows you aren't going to stop giving it happy nutrients, your body will stop being so hungry. I was like this for 2 weeks when I started and couldn't figure out why there were no trips to the loo...my body was using every little bit!

I think from your other posts you may be feeding emotional pain.
I know you are gain weight when you want to lose.
I would try scheduling meals. Try 6 mini meals spaced 3 hours apart and plan what you are going to eat. 2 apples and a small salad. That can help.
I know my stomach does not have an off. I have been raw for two years and I still can eat and eat...because it is so yummy but calories are calories. Instead of eating, try reading, exercising, knitting whatever keeps your mind and body busy.
Hope that helps

Are you eating any sprouted grains or nuts? Just fresh fruits are not very filling but I also think it is normal to eat more on raw.

Have you ever sat down and ate 8 fresh, ripe organic bananas for lunch? Very filling and satisfying too. Or, blend the 8 bananas with some distilled water and gulp it down -- yummy and filling. Sweet fruits tend to be very filling and can hold someone over 'til the next meal provided enough is eaten.

What do you mean by "full"? If you mean that feeling you get when you eat a large pizza? Meaning, you load your stomach with lots of food that doesn't digest well and you get that feeling of being "stuffed". (It's hard to describe the feeling). On a RAW diet, I can't get that feeling either but I'm okay with that because I like the feeling of being lighter and satisfied.
The closest I could come on a RAW diet to that cooked food version of "full" was to eat a poorly combined meal. For example, you could soak some almonds and them blend them with some frozen bananas and dates. Then, you'll come close to that full feeling. However, I really don't care for this feeling and don't recommend it.
Often, when I'm feeling emotionally charged, I like to blend a banana smoothie with just bananas and distilled water.
Hope this helps,

There's about ten different types of "full"
Only one of them has any real meaning in relation to when you have had enough to eat. All the other types of full mean you've had too much to eat.
You are "full" when you no longer have an appetite, and you have good energy levels.

I think that it takes a while for your body to know that it is full.
I find that if I am in the middle of a meal and really enjoying it and wanting more, if I have to leave it for 5 or 10 mins to do something then when I get back I am full and do not want to finish it.
My body has caught up with my tummy and realises that there is enough in there.
