I founs a post a couple of days ago on making these. It suggested frozen corn, but I bought fresh & hulled it instead. It said, corn, salt and olive oil. I did this and it was very runny. I dehydrated it 3 times the amount suggested and I ended up having to through it all away. Any suggestions?

My advice if you're going to use frozen corn is to make sure that you buy raw corn on the cob and cut it off yourself and then freeze it and thaw and use that because I believe that most of the frozen corn in supermarkets has been blanched first and that is not raw. Better safe than sorry. I had good luck with freezing my own frozen corn and letting it thaw, although I don't like the recipes I've tried to make with corn, but that's just my own fault.

I use fresh corn but I freeze it overnight and it comes out perfect. Are you using Alissa's recipe????? Thats the recipe I use and it makes fabulous enchiladas.

A lot of people don't like the taste of the tortillas using raw corn, so frozen is used....either commercial or home prepared.

I would use less oil and maybe add some ground flax.
