I mean raw book it doesn't have to be a recipe book per se just your favorite book that has to do with raw.
And why is it your favorite?

Alissa's book is the best I have seen because it takes you from the beginning of the raw journey to the finish (or rather ongoing).
You have how Alissa became raw, how other people learned from her (the before and after photos are so inspiring), and basically the way to do it! The recipes are the most comprehensive I've seen, in that there are different levels - some simple, some a bit more complex - and the ones I've tried have been foolproof and delicious.
I have bought some other raw books (just one or two) and have browsed ones in the book stores. Here in England we don't have access (apparently) to the same resources as people do in the US. There is always Amazon but I like to flip through books before I buy them.
I'm looking with interest at what books other people recommend.

I think I now have nearly every raw book in print!
Alissa's book & DVD is my bible, a bit like my Joy of Cooking was.
However oddly the book I make the most recipes from is Raw Food Real World. At first I just had it for the inspiring photos then I started making some of the easier items and now I find that recipes I thought were more difficult are really not they are just time consuming but still easy. So I have found myself using recipes from this over and over!
I also love the many pages of personal journy info too!

I love Charlie Trotter and Roxanne Klein's book, RAW. It is really hard to find some of the ingredients. But it has given me great ideas, and what I have made has been amazing. My fav is a juice with 4 fuji or braeburn apples, 2 beets, 1 inch piece of ginger, called a red roxie...SOOOO DELICIOUS!
the books i use most are alissa's, raw food real world, and rawvolution- the last one is fairly new, and it is fantastic!
