That the affects of raw on your body can be felt right away. Yesterday was only day three and in the evening, after taking my dog for a walk, I walked up the stairs to my apartment with no hip or knee pain! I mean, I *always* have it, you know? And this morning, getting out of bed first thing, the lack of pain was evident.

The longest I've been raw was 7 days and by day 6, I noticed the floaters in my eyes had significantly decreased. How can this be? Is it really so easy to heal our bodies eating this way?!! Hopefully, I am now on the track for long term raw, because I am just bowled over by what just a few days raw has done for me!

But thatÂ’s the scary part, donÂ’t you think? That this is all it takes to make a difference?

its so amazing to me how the medical world hides these great truths from even there own agents(Im a medical person, forgive me today im a bit emtional),,i am so grateful to God, or the Universe, or whatever you call it for guiding me to this information...without it i would have lived my life sick and in pain...it is so simple and so beautiful....

That's so great that you are seeing results so fast. I'm a sporatic raw fooder myself.

:) People live with pain so long they think it's normal. When you ask some people how they are doing they say, " As well as can be expected", how sad this is all some people believe.
I'm so glad that i feel better each day i wake up and I thank God for the knowledge and the desire to learn how to better myself each day.
I feel alive for the first time in years, it feels so good to not have headaches, constipation, leg aches and etc. I don't take this joy i have for granted it's a miracle to be in the shape i'm in.

That the affects of raw on your body can be felt right away.

Just a slight clarification on what is affecting what. Health and the expression of it is a biological process generated by your body. That food helps facilitate that in some way is more ancillary and not the cause per se. Diet only helps to support those biological functions which inherently strive to function at thier optimum. Just like sleep, exercise, air, water... etc. It all works together to support optimum health.
But I think you knew that already. :D

That's wonderful news!

I def. agree w/ you. It is indeed scary that just eatting fresh & raw can be so beneficial, but most of us have grown up eatting the SAD way or alterring foods from their natural states!! :o

It's not raw that does it, rather than what you DON'T eat anymore. Don't get me wrong, raw helps regenerate what you have "damanged" while eating SAD or just cooked, but the cooked is what does well, the damange lol. Anyway, yes, it is amazing and wonderful isn't it?

Wow, you are so lucky. I wish I can see the benefits so quickly. I was high raw for a few months, and then 100% raw for a few weeks, but I haven't seen anything different. Lucky you! :)

Linda, it's taking me awhile, too. I mean, a few things are better - I had some pretty serious neck pain that's gone, but it disappeared slowly over a year on a raw/mostly raw diet. I was on an all raw diet for a couple months, and the pain didn't magically go away during those two months, although it gradually decreased.

I read Audry (Chilove)'s website and saw that, although she had some great benefits on a raw diet, it took her a full YEAR to get her energy back. So that gives me hope. For some of us, it's slower (maybe because we have more deep-rooted problems that aren't visible yet?), but I'm sure that it will happen.

Ok, I get it:) But I am thinking that what I eat is having a bigger effect on all those other things. I get in bed *not* full of hard to digest food, so I sleep better. I wake up more rested and exercise, breathing etc are easier, deeper, better. So, yes, it all works together, but at least *for me* it seems like feeling better is starting with food. And that it doesn't take long for all these biological functions to start working better, the better I eat if that makes sense?

Anyway, thanks for everyone's support!

I agree with corn valley. The food itself doesn't do the healing, but it eases up your digestion and assimilation so that your body can take care of business.

With all the cooked and processed food in a body, there is such a small window of opportunity for healing to take action, which is why we will carry around our diseases and discomforts forever on an inferior diet.

I'm so happy to hear that you're having results... It helps our minds as well as our bodies :)

Awwww, Pailani, I'm sorry to hear that raw works so slowly for you too. But I"m thankful and glad that you are sharing that information with me. The neck pain improvement is sure encouraging.

I am also amazed at how quickly the body changes and adapts to diet. Just recently I was having trouble with high-fiber foods upsetting my stomach. But now I'm eating them like crazy, and I feel like a million bucks.

If only I had a million bucks, then I'd feel like two million.
