I wrote a bit of this in my journal, but I just had to shout from the roof tops...
I know my hubby eats fairly well as it is, but I have really been hoping he would want to become more involved with uncooking with me. If we were doing this together, it would be a nice bonding activity. Plus, we would be helping to build each other's health!
The last few days he has been mentioning a whole lot of interest, saying he wants to do a high raw cleanse...trying to do this for the next few months with me...I am thrilled to say the least! It empowered me to come home, and uncook up a storm so that I will have things around that he likes...I posted what I made in my journal.
T likes to have fruit smoothies a lot for supper, but tonight he made a great raw meal instead: Having found my simple sandwhich a bit dry, he stepped into the kitchen...He made an olive oil mix with spices and poured it over a piece of the rye bread with the avocado and tomatoes. He said that although it was a bit greasy, he liked it a lot. Seems loads better than a meaty cheesy greasy quesadilla...
Guess I have rubbed off on him for the better. KInda nice!
Well, I must head down to the kichen and check on the dehydrator...
