I found this website about an hour ago: http://www.vegetarianteen.com/ and found it very helpful for me! Check it out, even if you aren't a young adult! It has a lot of helpful hints in it. Also there is a raw foodist section: http://www.vegetarianteen.com/raw.shtml It's amazing! One of the best sites I have found focusing on young adults!

I think its great they have a raw food section in there. Many know vegetarian or vegan, but Raw is still spreading. Thanks for sharing this site.

No problem! I was shocked to see a Raw Section! I'm glad it's spreading too and that kids are making their own decisions to change their diets and lifestyles

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has some good recipes for teenagers, especially 13 year old teenage boys, especially for the school lunchbox?

Regards,

Eve

My older girls ages 6 and 11 just informed me that I have been packing too much food for them! Each daughter has a bento-ish box with 4 separate sections. I packed on Tuesday 1/2 cucumber per child cut into cute shapes, 1.5 clementine per child peeled and sectioned, about 3 carrots per child peeled and cut into circles, and then one child had a handful of cheezits and the other had a handful of life cereal...I am transitioning the girls still, so I dont want a complete revolt on my hands and pack a little something cooked for now. Like I said, the girls love their lunches and can hardly finish them. I dont have an appropriate dehydrator yet with a temperature control, so I havent cooked much in it that has turned out right unfortunately. So, there's my routine with my older girls. Hope this helps.

Hi Raw- Siobhan

Thanks for your school lunch box ideas. It's actually a good idea for raw lunches, putting lots of different foods in separate compartments.

What is a bento box? And what kind of shops can you usually find them?

Thanks

wow! thanks for that information mrandal :)

I will pass it along, gently, to my 19 year old daughter who is very interested in the raw thing, and likes to try my food.

So far, the "sexy B******s like it raw" episodes has impressed her the most.
