I've been challenging myself to try some new kind of Fruit, vegetable, nut, seed, grain, bean, oil or herb every week and thought maybe some of you would like to do it too? The rules are you just have to try a Fruit, vegetable, nut, seed, grain, bean, oil or herb at least once a week, that you've never had before, haven't had in a really long time, or (This applies to herbs) only have had dried and tried fresh. After you've tried it, post on here what is was, if you liked it or not and your thought on it if you'd like. Also if you are not raw (like me) and have had whatever it was cooked, or canned or something, that's ok too.

I'll start off, I got to go grocery shopping today :) so I got to try a bunch of new stuff.

1. Parsley, I've had it dried and liked it, but I tried it fresh for the first time and loved it
2. Artichokes, loved 'em
3. Olives, my mom would always get olives and offer them to me, but I would always saw no because they looked at me (the pimento), but I really want to try all kinds of new (healthy) things, so I got black, pitted olives instead, loved 'em :D
4. Valencia Orange, I've only ever had navel before, loved it :)

I'm gonna try my Jicama and I'll post my thoughts on it then :)

I dunno, I was just going to cut it into sticks and eat it like a carrot, or maybe dip it into some of my raw hummus....
