We have 2 limes, and I've never really had a lime I don't think. I used to eat lemons like oranges when I was little so I could probably do the same with a lime...but does anyone have any other suggestions? what is your favorite thing to do with limes?

OH I just bought 5 pounds of limes, for limeaid, yum or lime/celery/cilantro juice yummy, or salsa, actually I use lime juice in anything calling for lemon juice. or even orange juice as I LOVE the flavor of limes, always have, even as a kid. LOL
I'd make limeaid, that's what I'm doing with my 5 pounds, I just juice them, and place the juice in the fridge, or you can make lime juice ice cubes, then when you want a lime aid, just toss in the Vita Mix with some ice, and water and some agave' and you have lime aid.
I use about 3 large ice cubes, or maybe 1/4 cup lime juice
1 cup water, 1
1 cup ice
1 T agave' nectar, more or less to taste.
blend and there you have it, a lime slushy.
you can add more or less water, ice, agave', or lime to your liking.
I like mine zinging!!!!

great ideas! thanks :)
Rawpriestess...I was thinking of making something like a Limeade...but I don't have a juicer or a vitamix...just a regular blender. What if I just blended all the indredients?? I'll probably try it...yummm
tinystrawberry,
I didn't even think of lime water! lol yum. Putting it in salad is a great idea too!!

Yep, you can just blend it, peel it first, take out any seeds, and blend it up with some water and agave' nectar or sweetener of choice.
it is awesome, I like it with some fiber, but if you don't just straing like you do nut milk and take out the fiberous pieces. yummy
I LOVE limeaid, one of my favorite juices.mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

squeeze a lime on some really ripe watermelon for flavor explosion - albeit not a perfect combination - it's something i enjoy on occasion! :)
another thing - for when those cravings hit and something more dense is required: vitamix a head of celery, 2 limes, 6 romas, 1 avocado until warm and pour over 1 head chopped celery + 6 romas chopped for delish soup.

I like to cut them in half, squeeze a little agave nectar on top and take a bite! It's a real kick in the face lol

Limes are easy to squeeze by hand - just cit in half then squeeze away!
I like squeezing one over a salad! Delicious! That's often my only dressing.
Cheers,
Sheryl

Put the flesh of the lime in the blender with one avacoda and you get a really nice dessert. My friend would not believe me that it was raw.

You don't need a juice for limes. Just cut in half and squeeze in your hand.
I like lime juice in water. I don't add sweetener.
Or I put it in pico de gallo. Use some chopped tomato, onion, cilantro, hot peppers (if you like them), cilantro and lime juice and salt. You can even add a bit of cabbage to this if you like. Great with chips, on a salad or just to eat like that.

Lime juice is great in fruit smoothies
over papayas and mangos
over sliced avocado
in guacamole
in salsa with tomatoes, cilantro, onion
in a coconut smoothie (you put da lime in da coconut)
squirt some lime juice in a glass of water
in corn salad (corn, onions, jicama, cilantro, red pepper, diced avocado)
