I live in Buffalo NY and I'm trying to start eating raw. I went to my local grocery store and got raw beans, raw nuts, fruit and veggies. I've been seeing that people are eating other things like dessert. Do you make them yourself or do you buy them and where do you find stuff like this? Thanks.

Most people are making these desserts. But, you can find raw desserts out there! You just need to know where to look. In a previous thread, I saw some NY raw restaraunts. Check with them, for pre-made raw desserts.

I'm making desserts from the recipes in Alissa's book.
The date nut torte is so easy to make and is soooo good.
I also will just eat some medjool dates - for some reason they curb the need for sweets.
I go to the health food store and at the Whole foods market they actually have a section of pre-made raw food meals! so when I'm tired of making things I can get some "fast food" there which is incredible.
I make most of my meals at home - and there are many restaurants here if I'm not in the mood to cook - and I hear there are many in NY too.
I can go to the regular super markets too and find some organic produce as well.

You can buy some raw treats on the Internet, although, expensive.
I have bought from http://www.eatraw.com The only problem I have with them, is that I don't know the exact cost until I get the order as they don't tell you the shipping costs until then.
