Bananna Flax Crackers

2 cups soaked flax seeds (measured after soaking overnight)
5 very ripe banannas
1/4 C. fresh squeezed Orange Juice
dash Stevia, celtic salt, agave syrup or honey to taste

Place everything in food processor in order given. Process until well blended. Pour onto teflex sheets. Dehydrate until set then turn over and dehydrate until crispy. If you like fruit leather, dehydrate only till the flexible stage and roll up into fruit leather rolls and roll in plastic wrap to store. This recipie makes two teflex sheets worth of crackers.

Cheers!

You're welcome! :)

These remind me of those fried bananna chips I used to love as a child. The thing is, with these, there is no frying involved, and no white sugar or chemical additives. Yummmie.

I did a search for what I seem to recall a recipie for bananna crackers, but I found nothing. So, I improvised and made up my own recipie.

Cheers!

Hi!

If this IS the same recipie, what a coincedence! I thought nobody knew of a recipie for these. Is it the exact one? What page did you find it on? Now, that's just too weird, LOL

Your recipe is similar to Alissa's, Green Life, but hers has more banana in it. I've invented simple things before, too, and then found a recipe somewhere for basically the same thing. Funny! It's like having an original idea and then reading the same concept soon after in a book. There's nothing new under the sun. :)
