I know a woman who says she cured herself of fibromyalgia by eating blueberries everyday. I have fibromyalgia, so I thought, what the heck, I'll try it for awhile and see if I improve. I've been eating them every morning for three days now, and I'll probably eat them every day for at least a couple months while they're in season.
Does anyone have any healing experiences with blueberries?

I know they are loaded with antioxidents. They are suppose to be good for your eyesight. I just love them. I get them frozen when they are out of season. I use them in shakes. And oh did I tell you that I Love them........

Blueberries are one of the few foods I truly dislike. So you won't find me eating them. Not on purpose anyway. I did manage to eat a few while pregnant by making a mix of other berries and chopping it all up. But it still wasn't a favorite food.
I do have fibromyalgia though. Or I did. Haven't noticed any symptoms of it since I got my thyroid in normal range again. Unless I really overdo it and then my muscles will lock up. If this happens, most of the time I'm only in pain for a day or two. Not the two week flares like I used to have. I also take MSM every day. That really helps too.

juliebove,
have you ever tried to mix blueberries with bananas? Just throw two cups of blueberries and one ripe banana in the food processor/blender and after half a minute or so you have a yummy pudding. If it's not sweet enough, add some agave syrup or honey (if you don't mind honey) and enjoy. It's really yummy!

juliebove,
I'm glad you don't have fibro symptoms anymore. My thyroid always tests normal although I'm very low energy. Do you credit your improved health to the thyroid alone, or did you do something else to help? Also, how did you regulate your thyroid, drugs or alternative treatment?
