I just came from a vigorous game of badminton. Both my competitors are guys(we alternate), & they were sweating A LOT! They even had their shirts of. The thing I'm wondering about is, isn't sweating good for detoxing? I DON'T really sweat, & it's 80-90 degrees weather here! When I'm inside the home & the thermostat is set at 77(maybe?), I'm cold & have to walk around w/ a blanket!! Everyone else is comfortable. :o

Is something wrong w/ me?!!

I just posted about this subject recently and there were a few others with this same problem. Saunas and herbs were suggested. I'll go take a look to find my post and i'll put the link up to it on here for you.

I know there is a thread about this somewhere. How long have you been raw? If you've just started it could be detox. I know when I first started I went through a stage where I was freezing all the time. I went to bed with socks, sweats and tons of blankets and still felt cold. The only thing that helped was a hot shower. I believe the advice I got from the thread was something like your blood thickens a bit when toxins are being released into it and it can't get into the tiny vessels near the skin...you'll have to look it up for a more exact explanation.

mangamommy -- that makes a lot of sense to me. :D I've been raw for a couple of weeks? I didn't keep count, hehe. Before being raw 100%, I had fasted for 14 days. My being cold despite whatever weather definitely started then.

The thread dreamrawalwz created was very helpful w/ explaining why I may not be sweating even during vigourous exercise & heat. I'm going to go do a search on the reasons I may be so chilly!!!  :o

Are you pretty thin to begin with? That may play a part.

I'm rarely ever cold. Anything over 60 is hot to me. 80+? Fuggadaboutit.

you mentioned you started fasting. It is very common to be cold while you fast. Your metabolism will slow down and focus on burning other ailments you may have. It could still be detox, but I think you'll warm up eventually.

Yes. It might be my insulation, hehe. :D I'm 5'4 & 102 last time I checked. um... though before I used to float around 135-130 & then 125-120, I'd still be cold indoors w/ central AC while the family was burning up. When I visit friends, they always tease that they have to burn up the house in order to keep me warm. If outdoors, I was pretty normal. Not too cold & not too hot. Being cold just got worse during & after the fast. So I definitely can see reasons why it might be my insulation or detox symptoms!!!!  :o :D

Being cold is a phase that I went through as well. It will pass.
