I have read somewhere can't remember where that a cavity can be reversed.
Have of you seen this or heard this before and if so how was it done.
Food for thought. Many people are looking for natural ways to take care of their teeth.

I have read that in the Boutenko families books. I am personally experiencing something in my mouth. I am not sure exactly. I know it is detox. My teeth and gums are sore. I am hoping that maybe some healing is going on in there and I feel pretty confident that this is what going on and it is pretty exciting.

Not exactly. But my old dentist (retired) used to not jump the gun and said sometimes cavities would work themselves out. Therefore if he found one, he would monitor it and decide later if it needed filling. I only ended up having one filling from him (no pain killers, but that's another story). :)

I have heard of individuals reversing cavities. Just remember it is not all about calcuim--you need to get silicia. I have a cavity and I have been drinking shavegrass teas (aka horsetail tea, which is very high in silicia) and brushing with baking soda--then with celtic sea salt. I have noticed slight improvement so far. I just got my braces off though so hoping the results will be more rapid now.

Ok. I have just posted my testimonial, but did not include this as I am still observing what is happening so that I am not misleading anyone. I guess it is the scientist in me LOL.

I have/had a small early stage (only in the enamel, not penetrated to the dentin layer yet) cavity in my upper incisor. I was thinking about going to “get it fixed” right before I went raw 2 months ago. But after I started raw my curiosity led me to postpone my visit to the dentist to see what will happen. I stopped using regular toothpaste and started to use Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap interchangeably with baking soda. Thus far the cavity got much smaller and it is barely visible now. I will keep on going with my routine and will let you know when it disappears completely.

I hope this helps. And wish you all the best on your journey.
Love, katalin

This is actually one of the reasons I went raw, I'm really hoping it works. And if it doesn't as least I will reap all of the other wonderful benefits.
