Can anyone tell me what chlorella is and why it's supposed to be so good for you?

My Dad is taking it and singing it's praises.

He's also eating WAY better and still hasn't made an absolute decision about the chemo. Yes! Yes! Yes! I can't stop babbeling to Mom and Dad about raw every time I talk to them on the phone. Now Mom says she wants me to send them a bunch of raw nuts and stuff...(Can't get them up there) I'm also ordering them Alissa's DVD and book as soon as I get a check I'm expecting.

I feel so much better! But still...can anyone tell me what chlorella is? :p

Walkin...when we went to the potluck the other day, there were two people that had cancers healed with a raw diet. One had a large skin cancer on his back that is very hard to treat; it usually just grows back after it is removed. His has not ever grown back. The other guy had a cancerous tumor. He decided to give raw a try for six months and then decide if he should go the conventional route or not. By the second month his tumor was gone!

Not about chorella, but I thought you might like to know.

Chlorella is some totally awesome stuff. It actually binds up toxins (especially heavy metals) and escorts them out of the body, thus preventing reabsorption. Many people have used chlorella as a cleansing maintanance supplement, as well as for treating chronic toximia. I would guess that this is one of the reasons it is so sucessful with cancer.

I have read a lot of studies regarding its benefit as an integrative therapy too. (People will often use it in conjunction with alopathic medical treatment for cancer.) I am so glad it is working for your Dad!

Cassy:)

I love chlorella and I eat it every day. It is
one of the algaes I include in my diet. I also
eat spirulina, E3 Live, and Cell Tech blue-green.

Here are some good articles about it->
http://www.mercola.com/forms/chlorella.htm

Gabriel Cousens mentions that all the algaes
are good and have unique benefits in this interview->

Man oh man you people. You never cease to amaze me. I don't think I've asked a single question on this forum that didn't get answered.

Thank you SO much. :) I think I just might start taking the stuff myself!

Hi Walkin, Chlorella is my absolute favourite supplement. It may also be very helpful to your Dad if he has any CAT scans or other X-rays as it also helps to take radiation out of the body.

Need to be careful about the type you buy though, purity is important as it does absorb toxins so well, if it is grown in a "polluted" area, it will absorb environmental toxins.

In addition to the sites already mentioned (especially mercola.com) I recommend www.e-lyte.com

This is the one I use and recommend to my clients (I am a nutritionist). It is grown in glass dishes, in glass tubes, in a glass building!!

Good luck to you and your family

Yes! Chlorella removes dangerous radiation and heavy metals. Other important foods that do this are parsley, cilantro, and miso. (The best brand is "South River Miso").

Here is an incredible article, one of the best!->
