This may not be the BEST link, but I came across it because I got curious as to why I was craving oranges, mangoes, and blueberries so much! Especially after reading that when Sergei Boutenko first went raw he was craving mangoes and blueberries. I haven't had access to any mangoes or many blueberries so sadly I cannot provide my body with what it is begging me for. Any way, point being, I stumbled upon this website...it lists some foods and their nutritional benefits and healing properties, so I thought I would share:

Melissa,
no problem! :) I believe I typed in "healing properties of foods" and also "healing properties of mangoes".
Here are a couple more links if you are interested:

I also stumbled across a "healing foods pyramid" from the university of michigan's website and interestingly water was the base of the pyramid (like grains/starches are in the government's food guide pyramid.) next came fruits and vegetables, then grains, then legumes, then healthy fats, seasonings, then dairy and eggs, then seafood, then meat, then alcohol, dark chocolate, and tea. It was just interesting to me so I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. I'll check out the links when I have a little more time. That was really interesting about the pyramid for healing.
