I did a search and here it is.:D I've enjoyed all the shows and thought both Alissa and Carlene did a great job presenting their thoughts. I'm looking forward to seeing Alissa's new site once it's launched.

I have blown up my speakers and have had no audio for over a week. I have been lazy and not doing anything about it but I guess that I will have to sort it out now. I have listened to about 6 of the shows and they are very good.
Long Live Raw Vegan Radio.

Thanks for alerting me to this post!

I'm listening to Alissa now and hearing her speak reminds me of why I'm still RAW. In particular, she speaks of how when she first started all-raw she experimented with different approaches like "going raw during the week and some cooked on the weekend", and "eating cooked once a month". She had found that only the 100% RAW worked for her!

I have found over this past year that when I did succomb to cooked food that

I craved more cooked food for several days after the cooked food consumption
I overate on the cooked food item
My digestion/absorption/assimilation/elimination was noticeably impaired
The cooked food numbed my emotions
My cooked food consumption happened in front of the TV or when travelling when I was tired and emotionally spent
I immediately felt bad that night and resolved to get back to RAW the next day

Alissa also emphasized that to succeed you must have the right "mindset"!
So true... Feed the mind and the body will follow :)

Thanks Alissa for being a great inspiration to me and others you've reached!

How inspiring was that!!! If that doesn't inspire ya not too much will!!! :D

Here's to the many on this site who truly support Allisa's teachings...
Allisa's words in cyberspace:
"Eating Raw your intuition is more clearer"
"You are more able to listen to your body"
"Just eat all Raw"
"Don't make it hard"
"Focus on how good your going to feel"
"It is a mind set"
"Make food fun"
"Have fun"

I don't know about anybody else but I have been completely raw (100%) for 9 months and that just inspired me more! How about you?

Embrace your Journey!!!!

Well, I have only been raw for 4 days and had some slip ups already, but that interview sure inspired me!!

I really liked how she emphasized just eat raw whatever you want, when you want at the beginning. I find it's so easy to get hung up and think too much about what is 'right.' The 30 Day Challenge, she said, is to just get people to "do it" and then, after you've been raw awhile, you make adjustments. I now feel so much better about this process. Yipeeee!!!!!!!!

I can barely hear her. Then if I turn it up the guy is soooo loud. :(

all I heard is my new projects, my new stuff, a new book. oh yeah and the same raw food talk that takes place everywhere.

I expected more. =/

Sorry Druid that you could not hear :( I truly believe if you had you too would have been inspired. Alissa's approach to raw is not like everywhere or onelse. She advocates "Just eat Raw"...and nothing but raw. Most everyonelse is into the transistional approach that doesn't work for most people who are serious about going raw and making it a total lifestyle. Not to say that transitioning doesn't work but it takes too long or it just never happens at all. Too bad you missed the essense of what she had to say...especially about that. Maybe you can hear it on another computer.

That was great. There is a bunch of other stuff before Alissa comes on, for the first 15 minutes, so if you tune in now, try to move it up to 15 minutes, and then the interview goes on until the 45 minute mark.

It is true that Alissa's voice is low and the DJ is loud, so when I turned up the speaker to hear her the DJ was blasting through. I think it was because it was a phone interview and the reception probably wasn't the greatest.
