Hi! I think I pulled something in my left leg, and it doesn't seem to be getting better, and I tried using cruches for a while, it helped a little but it is not completely gone. And now from the strain or something my knee in hurting! The pain on my leg is like in the front of my hip where you legs go up to your stomach, I don't know how to explain it very well, and on my knee it hurts on the outside of the lefts knee.
Does anyone know if this is serious or not? If you have any advice please let me know!
Thank you!

Good advice, and I already did! He poped it or something and said to stop doing squats and lunges and see how it goes, that was a while back. I think the lunges hurt me cause I am taller and I don't know if I did them correct.
Thank you anyway!

Okay, maybe, just maybe I figured this one out! I was eating alot of fat and probably not getting enough nutrients so in that case how is my leg going to heal? Now I have been having a more greens and fruits, I'll see if this helps!

I don't think we have any doctors on this board, so we really can't diagnos or help you, especially with such little bit of info, even if we did have a doctor, I highly doubt they'd be able to do much with that, without looking at it.
so, go see a doctor if you are worried about it, and ice is not natural, so I wouldn't use it on an injury.
I would let it be.
I've hurt myself many times, and once I fell from a high distance, and hit my left leg, and I thought I had broken it, but actually a side of a chair, that I hit, rammed into the inside thigh of my left leg, with incredible force, I suppose I could have broken it.
anyway, I just laid there for a while, and didn't do anything to it.
I laid my hands on it, and I never did Ice it, it hurt really bad, and I could barely stand on it. after 3 days, there was this huge, 12 inches by 9 inch bruise deep purple around my leg, looked like a huge deep purple loaf of bread, because the bottom was totally flat, not like any bruise I had ever seen, where the edges are roundish. anyway, I kept it elevated, still went about my days work, and never put heat or ice on it, I just took it easy, after about a week, the bruising started to go away, not alot of swelling, but some
on the other hand, I've had bruises on my legs, and put ice on them, and the bruise was still there weeks later, and hurt for over a month,
so I don't think putting ice on a bruise helps, as it is not what would happen in nature. neither is heat.
so that is where I stand, however, putting your hands on your injury, is very natural and especially when you say a small healing statement, I think this is what heals us, just like our mommies' kiss on our boo boo, LOL that is what heals us, not the bandaid, which isn't natural, but the kiss and her hands on us, that is true healing.

Thank you for sharing that! I've been putting essential oils on my leg and it helps a lot! I have also, like I said getting a better variety of foods so I hope that helps too!

Generally ice is recommended for pain and inflammation during the initial injury or trauma.
Heat application is recommended to help the blood circulate to speed up the healing process. I put white rice in a big tube sock, tied with a knot, then I microwave for 2 minutes and apply to the area. I'll put a few drops of essential oil in with the rice, I like bergomot.
So ice wouldn't be good if you are trying to heal. Massage and heat is great if you are trying to speed up recovery.
